I thought that I would start a thread for discussing felt earthquakes. If you are in Dominica and have felt an earthquake, please report it here. Provide as much information as you possibly can. Below is some of the information you can include in order to present a good picture of what you felt. If there was damage, photographs would surely help too:

Date & Time quake was felt.
Your location (town or village)
Where were you? (indoors, outdoors, in a car)
If indoors, what type of building was it?(wood, concrete, multi-floor)
What were you doing? (sitting, standing, sleeping, driving, walking)
If asleep, did the quake wake you?
Who felt it? (only you, a few others, everybody)
What did you do? (did nothing, took cover, ran outside)
How did you react? (little reaction, excitement, frightened)
Was it difficult to walk?
Describe the shaking. (weak, mild, moderate, strong, violent)
Did doors and windows sway? (slightly, violently)
Were there noises?
Did wall pictures move or fall off the wall?
Did furniture move?(describe)
Did objects move or fall of tables and shelves?
Was there damage? (describe)

Have you been feeling the earthquakes taking place under Morne au Diables? I felt a couple in Portsmouth. The last one was on Saturday August 29 at 7:50 pm.

It came as quick, sharp jolt. Shook my television.
